This is the second time I’ve ordered takeout/delivery from New Harmony… places deserve a second chance right? Well, for the second time I was underwhelmed.

Let’s start with the wontons: The wonton wrapper was fried well and tasted great. The dipping sauce was also quite good. The problem was that there was no filling in the wontons. Not any of them. None.

The mixed veggie lo mein was pretty bland. There wasn’t much flavor really and the broccoli—which I usually love because of its crispiness—was borderline flaccid. Sigh, there isn’t much else to say about it…

On to the broccoli with tofu in garlic sauce. I’d give this dish a “B.” The broccoli was bright and crisp and the sauce was ok too. The tofu could have been crunchier on the outside but overall I enjoyed it.

The Orange Beef wasn’t bad but I’m not a huge fan of the breading this place seems to use on a lof of their mock meats. It had an ok texture and the sauce was fine too. Overall it was pretty good with rice.

I'm likely never going to order from New Harmony again.
