Got a problem that needs a dressing?
Salad dressing seems oddly expensive to me… And honestly, there aren’t a lot of them out there that I really like. Usually, I just go with some olive oil, sometimes with maybe a dash of balsamic vinegar, and call it a day. But last week I got a craving for Ranch that I couldn’t shake.
This recipe is not only SUPER good, it is really forgiving. I ate my first batch in a far shorter amount of time than you’d want to finish that much dressing. Eh, no regrets here…
Time: 5 minutes
Servings: not as many as you want it to be…
Ingredients
1 cup mayo
1/4 cup milk
1 Tbs apple cider vinegar
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Kala Namak (or regular salt if you’re out)
1/8 tsp MSG (no worries if you don't have this, just omit it but it really does add that little bit of magic)
1 Tbs dried dill
1 tsp finely chopped chives (or green onion in a pinch)
Directions
Put all the ingredients into a small food processor and give it a whirl. In lieu of a food processor, get out that whisk and use your muscles!
